Our motto at The Learning Center,  “You Can Never Have Too Much Happy”, is made possible by partnering with families to provide the ultimate tender, loving care for children.  It is a place where happiness and joy can be seen and heard.  It is where children grow and learn.  Our staff and families work together to create excitement about investigating new experiences, and building lifelong learners. We believe in hands-on learning because children learn best by doing. 

The Learning Center is a child care center where families are an integral part of their child’s journey and success.  We offer opportunities for learning, not only for the children, but for the staff and parents as well.   The Learning Center is a community of families...your child's "home away from home".





Selecting a Child Care Center
Selecting the right care for a young child challenges every parent who struggles to make the best choice.  We, at The Learning Center, hope you see our center as a home away from home for your child.  For many children, a child care center provides the first opportunity to make a place in the world apart from family.  The Learning Center stands above other centers in philosophy and teaching style, in appearance, and overall quality.  We encourage you to meet our staff, to ask questions, and to share your expectations.  The TLC community plays a central role in the process of creating a warm and consistent environment that we feel is essential for the growth and development of your child.

The TLC Staff
All members of The Learning Center staff are highly qualified and dedicated individuals.  They have been selected to teach at TLC because of their knowledge in the field of Early Childhood Development.  Our teachers have the ability to work with children and their families to create a wonderful learning environment.

Meet the Owner
My name is Liz Prior and I am the Owner/ Executive Director at The Learning Center (TLC).  I have over 30 years of experience as a director of child care centers.  I directed centers in Santa Monica, California from 1990-1997, and in Mercer County, New Jersey from 1997-2014. 

During those years, I facilitated the opening of five new child care centers, taught Child Development Classes, served on the board of the local NAEYC group, as well as the Advisory Committee for Becker School Supplies. I am also the recipient of the NJ Statewide Coalition for Child Care Professional Development Award. 

I am so grateful that I am able to be a part of a community that includes fantastic children, their incredibly supportive families, and our wonderful, dedicated staff.

Meet the Director
Kristen Kramley, Director
A Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Loyola University and 16 years of experience working with young children make Kristen Kramley a top notch  Director.  Her educational credentials coupled with her background in business management, are a winning combination for The Learning Center.  Parent communication, classroom interaction, and staff training are just a few of Kristen’s important jobs.  Her extensive knowledge of policies, procedures, and regulations are crucial to the center’s success.
